Based in Portland, Oregon, Trick Sensei plays psychedelic indie rock.  The band's multiple songwriters and vocalists offer a variety of sounds often characterized by lush and washy guitar, minor key vocal harmonies, and a solid rhythm section, often juxtaposed with trippy theremin work and quirky samples.  Trick Sensei is about good pop songs with room for experimentation.  In a live setting, when the mood strikes, there can be an improvisational element in which all the Sensei are well versed.  The lyrics are intelligent, earnest, and heartfelt.

Full Length Album

We have just finished mixing, mastering and producing our full length album: Summer Sessions: notes from a free Cascadia. This album contains eleven of our best songs and promises to become a classic in Portland's Rock/Alternative history. We will be busy promoting the album in 2007, so check back here often for tour details.
